Johns Hopkins Home Care Group is seeking a RN Home Support CNA Manager to join our team. The RN Home Support CNA Manager reports to the Director of Home Support/Private Duty. S/he provides safe therapeutic patient care through the use of the nursing process and coordinates, teaches and supervises patient care for a group of private patients usually in the setting of the patient's home. S/he independently manages and leads the overall day to day activities of CNAs and HSAs including hire, termination, performance management, and staff development. The CNA Manager provides mentoring, guidance and direction to other staff within Home Support. Responsibilities include promoting the company to targeted referral sources throughout the community, coordinating referrals and ensuring adequate service provision including scheduling based on patient's identified needs and priorities for care. S/he complies with required private duty policies and procedures and performs some budget responsibilities within the department. S/he acts as an extension of the Director for clinical needs in her absence.
· Graduate in an accredited school of nursing
· RN license in the state of Maryland
· Valid CPR card
· Three years of related work experience required
· Med-Surg. or acute care nursing experience required
· Home health or case management experience preferred
