Westat's research, technical, and administrative staff of more than 2,000 is located at our headquarters in Rockville, Maryland, near Washington, DC.
Westat is seeking a qualified clinical research associate to perform site monitoring visits. Opening available in our Rockville headquarters or a regional home-based office.
- Conducting site initiation visits, interim visits, and close-out visits.
Supporting site compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP).
- A bachelor's degree in nursing or other health-related field with at least 4 years of oncology-related experience, 4 years of clinical research experience is required.
Knowledge of GCP Guidelines is required.
Strong interpersonal skills, exceptional organizational and time-management skills, and writing skills are essential. The selected candidate must be willing to travel a maximum of 10 days per month.
